My name is Melanika Nawanjalee Kahatapitiya. I was on 17th of   April,1999. Which means I am 22 years old now. I live in warakagoda but my home town is Neboda. My friends call me melani. I will tell you about my family background. My family consist of four members. My father, mother, brother and me. To my mind that's enough about my family background.

  I like to tell about my schools, Firstly I attended in my village school Next I enterned to sripalee college ,Horana. I did Arts for my advanced level studies. I have completed O/L & A/L in 2015& 2019 respectively. 

   I am an undergraduate of this university. I am a first year student at the university of the Visual & Performing Arts. I have been able to identify with painting since I was a child. I am an active person who never gives up on any of the work I started and is extremly passionate about being friendly with each other.But sensitive pedicure It's one of my strongest weaknesses but I'm trying to face it all. I won all Island special certificate in the annual painting competitions in 2014,2015& 2016. I have many people who inspired me the most and one of them is my mother . She taught me to be strong during the hard situations, to be resilient. during my free time I would like to learn to make new dishes and I like to travel and experience new things. I would like to new things and I never stop a work until I finish it . I want to be a famous artist in the world and one day I will build my own  art gallery and do a solo exhibition.

  First Experience Using Colored Pencils😍 Different Techniques are used in painting and one of the techniques that struck my heart was the colored pencils. I saw drawings of famous artists on social media so, I thought I could draw like this too. So I wanted to try this method on my own. I ordered a set of  colored pencils from the Jencil Art Tools shop. I waited impatiently for it to come. After a while I got it . As soon as I received the colored pencil set, I started painting. This is my first colored pencil portrait drawing😍.  I had draw the portrait before but this is the first time this has been done using colored pencils. But my first drawing was not successful because I never used colored pencils😴. Even so, I did not give up trying to create more using these. After a while, the drawing I started looked more beautiful than I thought. In the future, I hope to draw new drawings using different media. Thank you! 💓

  A Moment In The Past 😁 Hello guys... Welcome to my 14th blog writing. Today I am going to present about a funny incident. Really very busy these days because our university departments are busy with selection exams. So, we had to present a design based o a folk tale for the course work conducted by the Department of Visual Communication.  The first thing that comes to mind is Andare's stories which reminded me a wonderful story. When Andare's stories are told, a smile appears on everyone's face unknowingly. " Andare went to the wedding" was my theme so let's see what happens at this event. When Andare's  mother told Andare that Andare's uncle's doughter's wedding was talking place, he touched Andare's head and explained how he behaved."
